Online Formative Assessments in the Class

In our class we had online assessments that were due on specific dates. I really think that they were really cool, and that it was great that we were able to use our book for help. And, since some of us are on the internet a lot, we wouldn't have to close our web browser to do work. Because our work was online! Also, with the work being online we will be able to familiarize ourselves with online web pages, and tools!

Google Drive in Class

Google drive is a life saver! Especially when it comes to saving work due for class. I usually try to save doc.on my laptop, but I'm one who forgets the names of things. So it makes it kind of difficult. But with Google Drive, I am in good care! I do actually use Google Drive outside of class. And trust me when I tell you it's handy, it's handy. I know I could easily store my writing on my phone, but with Google Drive I will be able to pull up what I typed up and continue it ANYWAY! I believe this is one of the best inventions thus far!

Blogging in Class

I really enjoyed blogging in class. I never really knew I had it in me! Writing was never really my thing but with blogging involved you kind of get a feel for writing.  My favorite part was when the classmates get to comment on your work. Nothing encourages you more than the kind genuine comments of your peers. Even though sometimes I would not even want to pick up my laptop, I still have to admit blogging in class was fun!

Doc.2

In Doc 2 I find everything rather simple. Except APA format, every professor checks it differently, so I tend to not meet the standards so to speak. At times I find other things to be difficult, but my main struggle is APA format. I like learning new things and all but APA is not my favorite thing to learn.  I just wish everyone would check APA format the same. I guess it is better to learn things in different ways. But, I'll still try my hardest! Does anyone else feel the same?

Death

Death, also known as the permanent ending of vital processes in a cell or tissue. Death is something that most people fear while others claim to care less. Death comes and goes as do the seasons. Making it a part of nature. Nature has its beauties and its flaw, but yet it still manages to take our breathe away. Sometimes literally. But, all in all death can will always be a part of life, as it is a part of nature.

Death

Last Tuesday I lost my uncle to pancreatic cancer. He left this world in pain, sadly. They doctors said they could not do anything, even though they couldn't they still tried everything they could. But through out those 3 weeks of my uncle being in the hospital we saw no signs of improvement. Since we only found out what he was diagnosed with a week before he passed, we had not planned his funeral arrangements here in the U.S. He was already set in Haiti but since the doctors said he was in no state to be released. We had to plan last minute. Because we thought he would last the week but he didn't. Now his funeral will be this Saturday at noon. Death is a very terrible thing as well as  beautiful thing. But it all depends on perspective and situations. To some who've lost someone in a harsh way death is terrible and to others it is beautiful.
