Mrs. Turpin, a Southern Belle, Christian and an egoistical lady. Mrs.Turpin is the exact example of the 'Wicked Witch of the West' never the less her character intrigued me. It's as if Mrs. Turpin is the 'Wretched Prom Queen' that no one would dare cross;thus, she would think as if she were what made the world go round. My favorite part of course was when Mary Grace set Mrs. Turpin in her place. She clearly needed a wake up call because in our world today we (some of us) do not accept being belittled or humiliated. All in all, I learned that we should recognize our place and keep certain things to ourselves.
You absolutely right Francime the most interesting part of the story is when Grace put Mrs. Turpin in her shoe,finally set her down with her judgmental taught .
