Gosh all the puppies and I still managed to classify one as my favorite. The English Bulldog,oh the love I feel for this dog. My daughter is obsessed with the dog. Funny how she dragged me into her world of "Fandom". I could listen to her babble all day about how perfect her dream dog is, or how if she had one she would name it Pumpkin. even though I've constantly told her time and time before that a dog won't work with our budget. I just hate seeing the look on her face, just that look of disappointment it kills me. I've even seen her try to save up her money but selling her old iPhone cases to be able to adopt the puppy and support it. She's even brought up the subject of her getting a job, mind you she's only 14 years old. It touches my heart to see her try to save up for something she wants. It shows me that she is a very devout and bright girl and I love her. One day I hope I will be able to get her the dog of her dreams. The English Bulldog.

I think thats so awesome, you're teaching your children responsibility so early. I try to instill that into my nieces and nephews daily.
ReplyDeleteOkay Francine, That's sad and that's a challenge for your daughter at the same time. Because she's passionate about something that really matters to her, she learns how to save and manage money, how tow use it wisely in the goal to realize her dream.Good luck to her!
ReplyDeleteAwe, that dog is too cute! Ugh! this must be so hard for you and your daughter. Props to mom for sticking by your decision. I think its great that you are teaching her to be responsible. I am sure one day you will be able to surprise her with that doggy she always wanted.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! me and you are in the same page. My boys asking me for dog as well, but i told my son unless he shows that he can take responsabilityes of taking care of the dog. Then i will get them the dog! Cute dog by the way.
