Life
And what I assume you shall assume,
For every atom belonging to me
as good belongs to you.

I celebrate myself, and sing myself,
- Walt Whitman
This is one of my favorite poems, it is short and simply. But yet so sweet and true. When I first read this poem. I did not understand it. I was confused till I remembered that every atom belonging to me, just as well belongs to everyone else. Because we are all the same, and we each should celebrate ourselves!

  1. It’s really a short poem and simple. I read it twice and finally got the sense of it and yes every atom should belong to each of us and we each should celebrate ourselves.
