Myth in Poetry
The word myth comes from the Greek word Mythos. A myth is usually a traditional story, specifically one focusing on the early history of a person or expounding some natural or gregarious phenomenon, and typically involving supernatural beings or events. Some clues that a myth is a myth are the following:
- Fairies
- Talking animals
- Heroic stories
- Gods
- Goddess
I love poetry, and stories about myths. My favorites usually involve gods, goddess, demons, and so on.
